Make the most of your day off with a visit to GSW. These two-hour campus tours are offered every hour, on the hour from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
Choosing an on-campus tour gives you a student’s perspective of life at Georgia Southwestern. You’ll see everything from our dining facilities to the fitness center, our historic architecture, the Storm Dome, and the newly renovated Canes Central.
The Office of Admissions and Recruitment will continue to offer alternative virtual visit opportunities as we are fully committed to the health and safety of the GSW community.
Preview Day tours last about half of the day starting at 8:30 AM and ending at lunch. Individual, on-campus tours take about two hours. Online sessions may vary.
Please see the specific tour for more detailed information.
Parking is available for visitors all around campus. Signs will direct you to the preferred parking depending on the tour or event you are attending.
Special reserved parking for Daily Campus Tours is available near Canes Central and the Marshall Student Center.
You will be walking around campus throughout the tour, so we recommend comfortable shoes and casual clothes. Since you will be inside and outside, check the weather before you attend your visit.
Enjoy lunch on campus at Chick-fil-A or the Dining Hall then grab a locally-brewed coffee and sweet treat at Café Campesino. Americus is also home to many great local restaurants and shops.

I chose GSW, because as soon as I stepped on campus I was greeted like I already belonged to the school. I felt like it would be a great place to go because of all the possibilities of involvement that were introduced to me.
