NELNET Payment Plan

Paying for the rising cost of a college education is a concern for nearly every student and family. To help you meet your educational expenses, Georgia Southwestern State University is pleased to offer Nelnet Campus Commerce (NCC) as a convenient budget plan. This is not a loan program. You have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges and there is no credit check. Enrollment in this plan is easy and available online through GSW RAIN.

Payment Methods

Automatic Bank Payments (ACH)

ACH payments are payments you have authorized NCC to process on behalf of GSW. It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds you have pre-approved for your expenses at GSW. Payments may be made from your checking or savings account.

Credit Card/Debit Card

If you elect to use this payment method, your monthly payment, along with a convenience fee, will be automatically charged to the credit card your designate. The convenience fee is in addition to the enrollment fee. Scheduled payments are processed on the last day of the month and will continue until the balance is paid in full. Down payments and the enrollment fee are deducted immediately.

Enrolling in a Payment Plan

Enrolling in a Nelnet payment plan is quick and easy.

  • Log in to myGSW
  • Select RAIN under Tools
  • Select "Student Account"
  • Select "Setup Payment Plan (NelNet)"

Cost to Participate

There is a $60, $70, or $75 non-refundable enrollment fee depending on the number of payments for the term.

Manage Your Payment Plan

My Payment Plan is a service provided which enables you to view the current status of your payment plan, account balance, payment amount, and manage your account. Once you complete your payment plan go to www.MyCollegePaymentPlan.com/gsw to set up your account. You will need your confirmation email available before logging-in. You will receive your confirmation email one business day after submitting your payment plan agreement. This is information is located on the student accounts page when you click the NelNet button.

Target Enrollment Dates

GSW's Spring 2025 tuition and fee payment deadline is January 8, 2025. You must be signed up with Nelnet by the fee payment deadline for your student account to be considered paid by guarantee with your Nelnet Payment Plan. Nelnet Payment Plans are open after payment deadlines for late registration and reinstatement students.

 

Spring 2025 Payment Plan is available on October 23, 2024.
