AMERICUS (March 17, 2017) – Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) played host to the Chattahoochee-Flint Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA)Educational Technology Center’s 13th Annual Georgia Movie Academy Awards on March 16 in the Student Success Center. “The Georgia Movie Academy is a digital storytelling competition sponsored by the Educational Technology Center at Chattahoochee-Flint RESA,” states their website. “The competition recognizes student work in the area of video production and storytelling.  This project-based learning opportunity allows students to work in teams to produce a theme-based, standards-based, three minute video on a topic of their choice.”
