Georgia Southwestern is kicking off a multimillion-dollar renovation of the James Earl Carter Library! This marks the first extensive renovation since its original construction in 1971 - and it's going to be worth the wait. Start date is December 11, 2024 and target completion date is set for September 2025.
The Library will be temporarily relocating to the Marshall Student Center (MSC). We are committed to keeping all services and resources fully accessible to students, faculty and staff during this transition. Please see below for more information on the renovation project.

ProctorU stations will be located in Sanford Hall during the library renovation. During this time, ProctorU services will have to be adjusted to test only Monday-Friday from 9:30AM - 3:00PM. Students MUST email the following to book a laptop and room: evelyn.oliver@gsw.edu, april.dodson@gsw.edu, shalisha.williams@gsw.edu .
