There is a powerful force behind GSW's Nursing and Health Sciences students as they are prepared for their career goals. Combining traditional classroom instruction with online and state-of-the-art simulation technology to enhance student learning, our graduates are actively recruited by the best hospitals and health care agencies in the state. With increasing demand of healthcare workers, Georgia Southwestern strives to ensure that those within the aging population, living with chronic conditions, and in need of medical care are are provided with the care needed throughout the region.
By increasing the impact of our students' education, our donors enhance their learning experience and further increase the amount of highly educated healthcare workers within our region.
The University and its Advancement staff welcome contributions of any type and would be delighted to establish new funds. We welcome the following gifts:

The School of Nursing is proud to educate future nurses as the high-demand field continues to have shortages. Your donations will allow our faculty to have opportunities for advancement in their careers, ensuring our students are given up-to-date knowledge. Giving priorities include:
Our Long-term Care Management (LTCM) program equips students with skills in healthcare management and prepares them for roles in various industries such as healthcare policy, residential life institutions, and medical supply agencies. Similarly, Exercise Science (ES) students gain expertise in health, movement, performance, and rehabilitation, leading to careers as personal trainers, physical therapy technicians, and more. Both programs also pave the way for graduate education. With the aging population and increasing focus on health outcomes, graduates of LTCM and ES are in high demand.
As we continue to age, live with chronic conditions, and strive for the best health outcomes, the graduates of the LTCM and the Exercise Science programs are greatly needed. Our current priorities are:
