7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Agerton Observatory atop the Roney Building Join GSW faculty for an open house at Agerton Observatory. Weather permitting, attendees should be able to see Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus and perhaps a few other objects. It will be cold, so please dress appropriately!

Gold Force Gala

6:00 PM GSW Storm Dome Georgia Southwestern State University will hold the third annual Gold Force Gala, a black tie fundraiser supporting student scholarships, on Saturday, February 1, 2025. The event will begin with a cocktail social and silent auction at 6:00 pm, followed by dinner and the 2025 Outstanding Alumni Awards ceremony at 7:00 pm. The evening will conclude with dancing and live music featuring the Emerald Empire Band. Sponsorships, tables and individual tickets are available.

7:30 PM Jackson Hall Project Trio will perform on bass, flute, and saxophone with reception to follow. Tickets may be purchased at the door - $12 adults, $10 GSW faculty & staff, FREE for GSW students with their GSW ID, and FREE for children under 12. Season tickets are also available.

7:30 PM GSW Storm Dome Bring a stuffed animal to toss on the court when the GSW men's basketball team scores its first point of the evening! All toys collected will be donated to Phoebe Women's & Children's Health Services department.

7:30 PM Calvary Episcopal Church Brink Bush will perform on organ with reception to follow. Tickets may be purchased at the door - $12 adults, $10 GSW faculty & staff, FREE for GSW students with their GSW ID, and FREE for children under 12. Season tickets are also available. Note this event will be held off-campus at Calvary Episcopal Church.

Hail Storm Annual Fundraiser

6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wolf Creek Plantation Join Georgia Southwestern State University Athletics Department at its 6th Annual Hail Storm. Golf balls may be purchased in advance for $100 each. Closest to the target takes home the first prize of $25,000! Enjoy food from The Canterbury Kitchen, complimentary drinks and music performed by The Answer Band. The reception runs from 6-10 p.m. with the Hail Storm (ball drop) taking place around 7:20 p.m.

7:15 pm Truist Park Save the date! GSW Alumni and friends are invited for GSW Alumni Night at Truist Park where the Braves will go head to head with the Philadelphia Phillies!
