ESOL Endorsement

The post-baccalaureate English to Speakers of other Languages (ESOL) Endorsement provides any P-12 teacher with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the needs of the students in his/her classroom. The program is comprised of 3 online courses (EDUC 7520, EDUC 7530, EDUC 7540) beginning during Summer semester. The three courses will prepare teachers to respond to the increasing number of English language learners in classrooms. Upon successful completion of the endorsement, candidates will apply for the “add-on” certification with the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
