Graduates of the Teacher Leadership program emerge as dynamic classroom teachers and influential teacher leaders. Affordable program costs:
No new GACE assessments required for Ed.S. Elementary Education and Middle Grades Education programs.
*GACE assessment (portfolio) required for Ed.S. Teacher Leadership.
Students wishing to apply to the College of Education graduate program at Georgia Southwestern State University must submit a completed admissions packet. Incomplete packets may not be reviewed for admissions. The complete admissions packet is comprised of the following:
A minimum of 3.0 grade point average of all previous graduate coursework is required.
Ed.S. applicants need only show graduate level coursework
Priority deadline is May 15, however the Ed.S. program accepts students into the Summer semester. Deadline for all materials is June 14.
The TEACH Grant Program provides grants up to $4,000 a year to graduate students in the process of completing or planning to complete a degree or courses necessary to begin a career in teaching.
