Why did you choose to attend GSW?
I chose to attend GSW because of the fantastic baseball program that we have here. The facilities and the winning culture made it an amazing place to continue my education. Being able to continue my education in history is another reason why GSW was the perfect fit for me.

Please list your University highlights, achievements, leadership and awards.

  • GSW baseball team (2024-present)
  • Peach Belt Silver Scholar Award
  • Dean's List (Spring, Summer, & Fall 2024)
  • 2024 Humanities Symposium participant
  • 3.74 GPA

Are you currently receiving any GSW scholarships? If so, which one(s)?
I am currently receiving the Evan Bozof Scholarship, and I am so appreciative for that.

Why did you choose your major, or what do you love about your major program at GSW?
I chose history as my major because I have always been interested in learning more about the people and events that have shaped our world into what it is today. I love the history program at GSW because the courses that are offered are amazing and the professors truly care about our success as students.

What would people be surprised to know about you?
I am a Canadian citizen, and I began my post-secondary education at Arizona Western College in Yuma, Arizona. I love America, and I plan on living here once I graduate.

What has been your greatest challenge?
The greatest challenge that I have faced is being a college athlete and being able to balance the academic and athletic sides of university. I take a lot of pride in my academic success, and I would like to be known for that just as much as I would like to be known for my athletic success.

What is your plan after graduation?
After I graduate, I would like to become a graduate assistant baseball coach and earn my master's degree. My ultimate goal is to be the head coach of a college baseball program one day.

What is your favorite class and why?
My favorite class I have taken is Dr. Paula Martin’s Medieval Europe class that I took in my first semester at GSW. European history is my favorite thing to learn about and learning about what life was like during middle age Europe was fascinating.

What is your favorite place to eat, shop, or hang out in Americus?
My favorite place in Americus to eat is probably Wok N Wings because they have great wings and Philly cheese steaks, which are two of my favorite foods.

If you had a time machine, when/where would you travel? Why?
If I had a time machine; I would travel back to the time when the Pyramids of Giza were being built in ancient Egypt. The reason I would travel back to that time is because I want to know exactly how they were built and how engineering was so perfect over four thousand years ago.
