Why did you choose to attend GSW?
I chose GSW because of the close connection we have on campus here. We are a family who can easily interact with each other on a close level. It makes us proud to be a Cane.

University involvement, achievements, awards:

  • Vice President of Student Ablaze Campus Ministry
  • Storm Spotter
  • Student Engagement Team member
  • Residential Leader (2019-2020)
  • Former Vice President of Black Student Union (BSU) (2019)

What would people be surprised to know about you?
I was born and raised in Jamaica, and I immigrated to America when I was 10 years old.

What’s your favorite spot on campus and why?
I love the Caf because the staff and students are so interactive and lively. Plus, I love food.

What is your favorite memory or experience you’ve had at GSW?
My favorite experience at GSW is my first-year homecoming because I got out of my comfort zone and danced in front of everyone. I experienced such a welcoming vibe from everyone, and I really felt like I was home.

What advice do you have for incoming students?
Be yourself because no one can replace your individuality on this earth.

Why did you choose your major?
I love to help people, especially children, so what better way to help children with ensuring their mental health is always in a healthy state.

If you had a time machine, when/where would you travel? Why?
If I had a time machine I would travel to the time where Jesus walked the earth. I think that it would be an amazing time frame to see the miracles and just be able to interact with him physically.
