Why did you choose to attend GSW?
I chose GSW because it was It was relatively close to where I live, and it was also affordable!

What would people be surprised to know about you?
I can be very talkative. I just choose to be quiet because I like listening to other people and their thoughts and ideas.

If you had to choose a discipline to study other than your major, what would it be? Why?
Some form of engineering. My previous major was Aerospace Engineering, and I enjoyed some aspects of it such as the Math that was involved.

What is your favorite class and why?
My favorite class was Principles of Operating Systems. The concepts I learned in there such as file management, writing scripts, and shell commands are very useful, and I use them in my current job as a IT Analyst and Programmer.

What have your learned (or are learning) that has made the biggest difference for you?
My student worker position as a web developer was impactful and hands-on. I got to see how the University’s content management system (CMS) works and the business side of everything in terms of meetings and practices. It enhanced my knowledge in web development with real-life projects.

What has been your greatest challenge?
Keeping the motivation to move forward, studying, and applying myself. Fortunately, the people I've met on campus has kept me motivated throughout my time here.

What is your plan after graduation?
I plan on continuing my employment at GSW! I was able to get a job on campus fulltime!

What advice do you have for incoming students?
Be passionate about what you are learning. If you are unsure what field or major to jump into, take your time to figure it out. Don't rush anything.

Why did you choose your major?
Computer Science is a field that is in great demand right now. I also enjoy learning about all the different aspects of the tech we use in our everyday life.

What is your favorite series to binge watch? Why?
My favorite series to binge watch would have to be The Office. That show is a classic and will always make me laugh. Almost every character on there is memorable.
