Graduating: May 2022

Why did you choose to attend GSW?
I chose GSW because I had friends and family attending and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the campus when I visited.

Please list your University highlights, achievements, leadership and awards.

Why did you choose your major?
Chemistry is simply fascinating to me. I enjoy learning more about the world around us and trying to better understand how it all works.

Tell us more about something you’re involved with on campus.
Joining Sigma Chi fraternity is a big part of my college career. Through Sigma Chi, I have learned to be better for myself and those around me. I owe a great deal of credit to the fraternity for the many memories and friendships that I have shared ever since I joined.

Who is your favorite professor or staff member and why?
Dr. Tzvetelin Iordanov has been a fantastic professor and advisor as well as a friend. His help and advice over the years has pushed me to be a better student and continuously grow my interest in the field of chemistry.

What is your favorite class and why?
It would be hard to choose one class as my favorite. Because of my interest in chemistry and the great professors, I have enjoyed all of my major classes and the challenges they come with.

What have your learned (or are learning) that has made the biggest difference for you?
The main thing that I have learned is how to become the best student I could be. As classes progressively get harder, learning to adapt and form better habits has helped me to where I am today.

If you had a time machine, when/where would you travel? Why?
If I had a time machine, I believe I would go back to my freshman year here at GSW. I had no idea what was ahead but, I had some of the best times of my life on this campus. Time has flown by, but I consider myself lucky to have ended up here and will treasure the memories for a lifetime.
