What makes GSW special?
In my opinion, GSW is special because of the people. I have met so many influential people such as faculty, staff, friends, etc. since I began college at GSW. The relationships I’ve made will always hold a special place in my heart.
Tell us more about something you’re involved with on campus.
Over the last four years, I have been very actively involved in my sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha. I have developed more leadership potential, knowledge, communication skills, and genuine friendships than I ever thought was possible. I will forever be thankful for this organization.
Why did you choose your major?
I chose my major after realizing I had a true passion for helping kids succeed. I love spending each day in the classroom and building relationships with young learners. I have thoroughly enjoyed the education program at GSW! Each class I have taken has made me realize that I definitely chose the best major for me.
What is your plan after graduation?
After I graduate this December, I plan to take a position teaching elementary school around the Athens, Georgia area. During this time, I will continue my education while getting my master’s degree online.
What is your favorite memory or experience you’ve had at GSW?
