The Office of Information and Instructional Technology (IIT) is dedicated to supporting Georgia Southwestern students, faculty and staff by providing professional expertise that enables the extensive and essential use of information technology on campus. IIT maintains a variety of networks and computers as well as a multimedia, distance learning, and faculty development classrooms. IIT also supports campus email, financial and student information and other administrative systems, online course development, and student testing, along with academic and residential computer labs.

We recommend contacting your professor about class specific issues prior to contacting IIT. Most professors teaching online applications can walk you through many issues.
RAIN is the web portal to all the information about your student career; transcripts, class schedules, financial aid eligibility, and other important information.
Your Radar Student Email is the official form of communication from faculty and staff. You access your Radar student email with your CanesNet credentials. Your student email must be set up in order to access housing, registration, DegreeWorks, etc.
Your CanesNet credentials will allow you to log in to email and computers on campus.
GeorgiaVIEW is the Learning Management System students use access to online materials from regular GSW classes. You access your GeorgiaVIEW account with your CanesNet credentials.
GoVIEW gives students access to online materials from eCore, eMajor, MSN and FNP classes and must be accessed with separate GoVIEW credentials.
DegreeWorks is a web-based tool to help students and advisors monitor a student's progress toward their degree completion.
