Interview Prep

Annually, Georgia Southwestern hosts Senior Day, a day dedicated to preparing graduating seniors for their futures after graduation. Senior Day provides knowledge and opportunities for graduating seniors to feel confident about entering their career fields and do so successfully. Campus administrators, alumni, and local business owners will lead workshops throughout the day on topics such as resume building, interview skills, and social etiquette.

Senior Day Information

Need a coat, tie, or specific item for your next interview? Drop in with FYE and Student Success to check out the Coat Closet to see if we have an item for you! Because GSW strives to provide students with the resources needed to succeed, students are offered these new or gently used items at no cost.

If you are interested in donating new or gently used items, please contact the Department of First-Year Experience and Student Success

During this year's Senior Day, a series of presentations and resources were offered to students seeking guidance for the hiring process after graduation. Below, you can find general guidelines for networking, creating your resume, and preparing for interviews.

Georgia Southwestern uses Merit Pages to announce and recognize students for their achievements. With Merit, students can keep detailed records of their educational and professional accomplishments while at GSW!
