Fees for massages are non-refundable and the $15 fee is in addition to what you have already paid for massage. Our massage therapist’s time is valuable and communication is very important.

New Client Information
If this is your first massage experience with us, please take a moment to fill out our New Client Form prior to your arrival. After you complete and print the form, please bring it to the Fitness Center. Please also arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment.
First Massage Experience
If this is your first massage session, your massage therapist will explain the procedures, techniques, and expectations. We want you to be as comfortable as possible. Feel free to ask any questions to your therapist before you begin your session.
What to expect from your session: You should expect a peaceful and comfortable environment for your massage. Let the massage therapist know if there are any distractions impeding your relaxation during your massage session.
Communicate your needs: Prior to your treatment, you will be asked your reasons for getting a massage, current physical condition, medical history, current medications, lifestyle, stress level, etc. Please let the massage therapist know anything that needs addressing before your session begins.
Dress: The massage therapist will leave the room while you undress to your comfort level. You may leave your undergarments on. You will be draped warmly at all times except for the area being massaged, ensuring that your modesty is respected at all times.
Special Concerns: Always communicate with the massage therapist whether the pressure being used is comfortable. Please let the therapist know whether you prefer oil or lotion, and if you dislike scented lotion; if you are too hot or too cold.
After the massage: Before getting up from the table, give yourself a few minutes to reorient from a state of deep relaxation. The therapist can help you off the table, if you desire.
How long: The length of your session will depend on the time limit you have purchased. Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled massage time to allow any discussion you want to have with your massage therapist.
How often should you get a massage: Frequency is usually more important than the length of each massage. With regular sessions, you may begin to notice positive changes in how you feel between massages, and how many aches and pains you do (or don’t) experience.
