All Group Exercise classes are FREE for students, faculty, staff, and Hurricane Club members at GSW. You must bring your GSW ID to participate. The Group Exercise Studio is located on the first floor of the Student Success Center.

There are a limited number of bikes for Group Cycling, so please arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow enough time for proper bike set up (especially if it's your first class). Group Cycling is on a first come first serve basis.
It is recommended that you bring a towel and water bottle to each class. Mats are provided, but it is HIGHLY recommended you bring your own mat, especially if you plan on attending daily Group Exercise classes. To help better control the spread of illness and disease, sanitizing spray and disposable towels are available to use, so please make sure to wipe off equipment after each use.

BEACH BODY BOOTCAMP:
Work your WHOLE body in this outdoor workout. This class will push you to limits you thought you’d never reach. Basic body-weight and resistance exercises, coupled with non-stop cardio intervals will ensure that you burn 400 – 600 calories each class. Rain or shine…no excuses!×
This class focuses on strengthening and fine-tuning major muscle groups. This cutting-edge workout makes use of various equipment. Body conditioning classes involve a high energy, high impact workout, which typically involves a combination of aerobics and toning.×
This class is for anyone! What is Barre you ask? Barre classes mix elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training, and the moves are choreographed to motivating music. So get a total body workout that slims your hips, tightens your thighs, lifts your seat, & mobilizes your metabolism. Leave the wall behind and we’ll see you at the Barre!×
Come sweat off those calories and that stress with this “kick-butt” class. It features drills, combinations, and knock-your-socks off cardio that will have you leaving the class feeling energized and invigorated.×
CARDIO DANCE PARTY:
Ditch the workout! Join the party! Need cardio? Love to dance? Get ready to shake and sweat! No rhythm required! Add fun to your fitness with this high-intensity class that fuses the latest hip hop, dance and Latin music with easy-to-follow dance routines.×
No guts, no glory in this total body workout! Circuit Boot Camp classes combine intervals of cardio drills and muscle conditioning exercises to provide you with the ultimate circuit workout. You’ll move around the room to a number of different stations each designed for a specific exercise. Cross lazy out at the door when you step into this workout.×
Get your cardio and strength training done in one class! By combining aerobics and weight training, you’ll be able to get a heart pumping workout and work all of your major muscle groups.×
FRIDAY POWER HOUR:
For the yogi with the hectic schedule on Friday! Get every benefit in yoga from this streamlined class. End your week feeling energized and refreshed!×
HARD CORE ABS:
An intense 20-minute non-aerobic core conditioning class that focuses on strengthening the muscles of the midsection and lower back. It will improve abdominal definition and increase core stability. Your core is your “powerhouse” that carries you around daily. Make it strong!×
High Intensity Interval Training, or HIIT, has been studied and proven to be a form of cardio beneficial to burning fat in a short, but intense workout. Sessions last only 9-20 minutes, but are all out the entire duration! Tabata uses 20 seconds of ultra-intense exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated continuously for 8 cycles (4 minutes). Gain power, strength, agility, and speed with this class. Athlete or not, gain anaerobic benefits, improve athletic performance, and transform your body with this 30-minute blast!×

POWER YOGA (ALL LEVELS):
This energetic and athletic level of Vinyasa yoga is for those who want to challenge their strength and power. Focus on balance, posture, and breathing as you move from one dynamic pose to the next. Includes many different yoga styles.×
