This program focuses on imparting essential skills in health messaging and communication, specifically tailored for nursing and other health-related fields. Core tenets of health communication, including clarity, conciseness, and transparency, form the foundation of our curriculum. Students will develop these crucial skills through a diverse range of courses, providing a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experiences in crafting and comprehending health communication messages. 

The certificate in Health Communication can be used as a standalone certificate, a minor for the general Communication and Emerging Media degree, or an addition to our various healthcare related programs. Certificate holders can use their skills for careers in the following areas:
