I am pleased to present the following information about the School of Computing and Mathematics: our mission, our people, our academic programs, student and alumni organizations, publications, and a variety of special activities.

The school’s alumni are employed by Federal and State Governments, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, Microsoft, IBM, Google, Amazon.com, Dell, Emory University, UPS, Total Systems, Aflac, Avaya, Marine Corps Logistics Base, etc. In addition, our graduate students have been admitted to Ph.D. programs across the nation. Two students were finalists for the very competitive and prestigious President’s Fellowship National program.
The majority of the school faculty have practical experience, including database management, system development, servers virtualization, algorithms design and optimization. The School received numerous grants such as: NCR Corporation – $1,600,000, FIPSE - $400,000, NASA – $99,000, Motorola - $250,000, AT&T – $25,000, National Science Foundation – $43,000, Microsoft - 68,000.
The School is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in undergraduate and graduate education in computer science, information technology, and mathematics for a multicultural, global environment.
