Earn a Bachelor of Business Administration at your convenience
Through a partnership with Georgia Southwestern State University, students can earn their Bachelor of Business Administration without ever having to leave their designated location.
The foundation of the partnership between our sister two-year schools and Georgia Southwestern is the mix of traditional classroom lectures and online course format. Upon earning an Associates Degree in Business from one of these schools (Bainbridge State College, East Georgia College, Georgia Military College, Georgia Perimeter College, or South Georgia State College), students can transfer to Georgia Southwestern and earn a Bachelor of Business Administration through the convenience of online courses. This combination results in a degree program that easily accommodates the busiest of students with demanding schedules.
Students transferring to Georgia Southwestern from schools not previously listed or prior to completing the Associates degree may still be eligible for the online program. Criteria for acceptance into the program can be found by clicking the link below. Students transferring should ideally have completed all core requirements as currently GSW does not offer all core courses online. However beginning Fall 2015, GSW offers E-Core courses at the published E-Core rate. In addition, transfers may need to provide documentation such as course descriptions to receive credit for courses.
Online courses require different preparation than traditional face-to-face classes, and in most cases require increased involvement from the student. In order to provide you with the best learning experience possible, many of our courses have videos of in-class lectures, “mini” lectures, video presentations and online proctored exams. The links below will allow you to see the technical requirements needed, as well as providing you with a quick quiz that will help you determine if online courses are a good fit for your needs.
If you are taking any online courses through the School of Business you will need to be properly prepared for the technology requirements of these courses. Many courses will also include the use of video and video conferencing technologies to enrich the student experience. You are required to meet the minimum technology requirements to take these classes.
