An internship is a form of experiential learning that allows students to earn course credits for work completed in an occupational setting. This experience is designed to help students bridge the gap between academic coursework in their field and real-world settings.
Are you looking for hands-on experience in your field, while earning course credit? If so, an internship may be right for you!
GSW students now have access to Handshake, a platform used nationwide for students to explore internship and job opportunities in their area. Students can register and begin searching options available at joinhandshake.com!
Student internships are offered across campus and sometimes off campus at local businesses and organizations. Sample internship responsibilities may include:
Office of Experiential Learning
Yemisi Milledge, Ph.D.
Director of Experiential Learning
