Regents’ Engineering Pathway Program (REPP)
The Regent’s Engineering Pathway Program (REPP) was established in 2016 to replace the RETP. These changes to the program allow REPP Partner institutions to develop pre-engineering programs whereby the students complete two or more years of coursework at their home institutions before transfer to REPP participant schools. REPP participant schools include the Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia Southern University, Kennesaw State University, the University of Georgia and Mercer University.
The REPP at Georgia Southwestern State University currently offers qualified students the opportunity to transfer to an engineering program of their choice at Georgia Tech, or to programs in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Georgia Southern University. In the REPP, students enroll for their first two or more years of course work at Georgia Southwestern, where they can complete all of the required mathematics and science courses, as well as other core requirements of the engineering curriculum. Students who successfully complete REPP requirements at GSW may be accepted as transfer students to a participant institution, and are able to continue their work toward completion of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree. Please note that successful completion of courses at GSW does not guarantee transfer admission to an engineering program at a REPP participant school.
