GSW announces 2009-10 Chamber Concert Series

            AMERICUS—Georgia Southwestern State University has announced its 2009-10 Chamber Concert Series:

·        Tuesday, Sept. 22—Alfonso Lopez, violin and Michelle Tabor, piano

·        Monday, Oct. 26—Merling Trio: violin, cello and piano (Rylander Theater)

·        Tuesday, Nov. 10—Carolina Brass

·        Thursday, Dec. 3—Holiday Celebration Concert: GSW Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, GSW Concert Band and Jazz Band

·        Tuesday, Jan. 26—David Burgess, guitar (Calvary Episcopal Church)

·        Thursday, Feb. 4—James Nalley, piano

·        Thursday, April 15—Degas String Quartet

All performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. at GSW’s Jackson Performance Hall, unless otherwise noted.

Season tickets are available: adults $45, GSW faculty/staff $40, senior citizens $35 and Habitat for Humanity volunteer $25. GSW students and children 15 and under are admitted free. Tickets to individual performances are also available.
