September 11 Background and
Aftermath
In the wake of the terrorist
attacks of September 11, 2001, the James Earl Carter Library
anticipated an increasing interest by its users about the
events themselves and the historical, political, cultural,
religious, and economic issues leading to these events.
To assist our users in their searches through the myriad of
available material, we have developed this information resource.
It includes a glossary of search terms and people, a select and
annotated listing of James Earl Carter Library information sources
relevant to the events, and links to larger online information
sources.
In compiling these links and
bibliographies, the Library has endeavored to meet the following
criteria: reliability, objectivity, and balance. Please contact
us if there is any way in which we can help with your research
or if you have any questions or comments about this page or its
comments.
