Assistant Professor of History
Georgia Southwestern State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in post-1865 American History at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 1, 2010. The successful applicant will teach survey-level courses in U.S. History I & II as well as upper-level offerings in some area reflecting individual specialization. Preference will be given to scholars with a field in women’s/African-American history. Applicants must have the PhD in hand by August 1, 2010. The teaching load is 4-4.
