Instructor of English/Learning Support. A renewable one year contract.  Position to begin August 2010, in our Department of English and Modern Languages, a division of the College of Arts and Sciences. Position requires a person with training in rhetoric and composition, but preference will be given to candidates with expertise in teaching learning support writing courses and in incorporating technology into their composition classrooms, or involvement in the National Writing Project.  Eighteen hours of graduate coursework in English is required. Duties will include a 4/4 teaching load of primarily learning support composition courses. The successful candidate will demonstrate an appreciation of the department’s undergraduate teaching mission. Deadline for applications is February 15, 2010.
