Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Human Resources Department at
Georgia Southwestern State University to deliver superior service and to
assist our employees and students in a caring, trustworthy and timely
manner by providing the following services:
- Assist in the recruiting and retention of
employees.
- Provide training and development opportunities and
educational experiences to promote individual success and increase
overall value to the University.
- Provide and promote a safe and healthy environment
for our students, faculty and staff.
- Inspire and encourage a high level of employee
morale through education, feedback and conflict resolution.
- Provide resources and counsel to our employees
regarding benefits and policies and procedures.
- Support the mission and diversity statement of
Georgia Southwestern State University with a high level of integrity and
