Southwestern’s School of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program. Graduates are prepared for a variety of positions in hospitals, community healthcare agencies, private offices and other such facilities. Prior to acceptance into the BSN program, students must work on their traditional core courses and some prerequisites for the program. Students generally apply to the School of Nursing in their second full year of study. The School of Nursing is committed to preparing students for professional nursing roles and for collaboration with other professionals and consumers in the delivery of health care.
