*For purposes of financial aid, insurance, athletics, a USG student is considered full-time if they are enrolled in at least 12 credit hours in any semester and is considered part time if enrolled in 6 or fewer credit hours in any semester. The fact that undergraduates not on a guaranteed tuition plan will be charged tuition for up to 15 credit hours has no effect on full-time student classification for the purposes of financial aid, insurance or athletics.
FEES:
- All Students, regardless of number of hours, are required to pay the $50 Technology Fee and the $242 Institutional Fee.
- All undergraduate students living in a residence hall or undergraduate students enrolled in 3 or more semester hours on campus pay an additional $337.00 (Student Activity Fee, Athletic Fee, Health Service Fee, and Student Success Center Fee).
- Graduate Students enrolled 7 or more hours pay full fees, but if enrolled 4-6 hours will pay 50% of fees and if enrolled 1-3 hours will pay only the $50.00 technology fee and the $242 Institutional Fee in addition to tuition.
- All Fees are mandated by the Board of Regents.

Food Service

Three types of meal plans are available:

  Unlimited meals per week plus $120 flex cash $1,442.00
  15 meals per week plus $240 flex cash $1,442.00
  10 meals per week plus $240 flex cash $1,339.00

NOTE:

- Students living in college housing with LESS than 60 credit hours must purchase one of the three meal plans listed above.

- Students living in Southwestern's residence halls with MORE than 60 earned hours will be assessed a $100 flex cash meal plan if another meal plan is not selected.
