The Certificate in European Union Studies is a collaborative effort of numerous University System of Georgia institutions. This program must be taken in conjunction with a 4-year degree offered at Southwestern. Its purpose is to promote knowledge of the European Union and certify individuals as they become competent in European studies. As the European Union is one of the most important economic and political partners of the United States, this certification demonstrates valuable professional expertise to potential employers and would be a beneficial complement to the bachelor’s degree.
