The Printmaking program at Southwestern focuses on investigation in both practice and theory. Priority is given to both critical thinking and skill development. The Fine Arts Department at Georgia Southwestern State University offers both a Bachelor of Arts (a program based more on liberal arts rather than fine arts) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Students will see themselves within the ongoing development of art’s history and so choose their direction within that context. Hands-on training and in-depth exploration of new concepts are complementary to this degree.
