Alumni Events

The Office of Alumni Affairs is dedicated to increasing alumni involvement and fellowship by offering a variety of affordable events throughout the state. Alumni and friends are encouraged to participate, make life-long connections, and remain involved with the Hurricane community. Events often include live sporting events, engaging over meals, and playing games that encourage friendly competition. Popular past events include the Annual GSW Night at the Hawks, Annual Night at the Braves, and various gatherings at local breweries and restaurants throughout the state.

Events are added online as they are scheduled. Many have limited registrations so we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible.

Chi Phi Night with the Gwinnett Stripers

6:05 pm First Pitch 2500 Buford Dr, Lawrenceville, GA Join fellow Chi Phi brothers to experience the Gwinnett Stripers take on the Durham Bulls. Tickets are $75 per person and include game ticket, food, and soft drinks. A private area on the third base line will provide for a family friendly event.

Zeta Tau Alpha Reunion

2:00 pm - 4:00 pm 403 Patton Dr. Americus, GA The Americus Area Zeta Tau Alpha Alumnae Chapter will have a 50th Anniversary celebration at the home of Don and Sybil Smith. Kappa Sigma Golf Tournament

12:30 pm Griffin Bell Golf and Conference Center Join forces for a great day of golf and scholarship fundraising with this 3-man scramble with handicap scoring. 4:00 pm Game Truist Park, Atlanta Join GSW Alumni & Friends at Truist Park as the Atlanta Braves take on the Tampa Bay Rays! GSW Office of Alumni Affairs has reserved a limited number of tickets in the Diamond Corner. There will be a pregame opportunity in The Battery where alumni can gather for a drink and some appetizers so watch for more details as we get ready to CHOP ON!

All Day Online and Participating Restaurants Save the date for the sixth annual Day of Giving, a day focused on giving back to Georgia Southwestern scholarships.

Chi Phi Golf Tournament

10:00 am Griffin Bell Golf and Conference Center Calling all golf enthusiasts, fraternity alumni, and friends of Chi Phi to partake in a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and philanthropy. Begin the day with a shotgun start tournament format with exciting contests and challenges at various holes, including longest drive, closest to the pin, and more. Payment includes a Chick-fil-A lunch.
