GSW students to share “Experiences in Bulgaria” at Third World Seminar Sept. 5

AMERICUS (Aug. 30, 2012)--Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) is hosting the first Third World in Perspective Program Seminar of the 2012-2013 academic year. Titled "Experiences of GSW Students in Bulgaria," the forum is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the Education Center, Room 100.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend this free program.

The seminar will feature the in-country learning experiences of five GSW students who spent the 2012 Maymester in Bulgaria.

The following students will give presentations: Shannon Ashmore, a senior computer science major from Leesburg; Cynthia Boswell, a senior art major from Warner Robins; Davis Duffey, a junior history major from Winder; Abigail Hamlin, a senior biology major from Bonaire; and Elizabeth McDermott, a senior English major from Conyers.

The seminar is co-sponsored by the GSW College of Arts and Science, GSW the School of Business, the GSW Study Abroad Program, the Division of Continuing Education, the Georgia Southwestern Foundation, Inc, and Association of Third World Studies, Inc.
