Number five is a tight dog-leg requiring two well-executed shots to reach the green. This hole rewards a well-placed tee shot, but will quickly penalize anything not in the fairway.

Pro’s Suggestions:

Whatever club you are thinking about hitting off the tee is probably too long. Anything hit through the fairway will likely result in an obstructed approach to the green. Dial it down by taking a long or even mid-iron. This should put you in the fairway at the dog-leg, with between 100-150 yards to the pin.
