Student Organizations & Community Service

Georgia Southwestern Association of Nursing Students (GSWANS)

All students registered as pre-nursing or nursing majors are invited to become members in GSWANS. The local organization works to promote community service and professional involvement in nursing at the local, state, and national level. Students may become members at the state (Georgia Association of Nursing Students [GANS]) and national (National Association of Nursing Students [NSNA]) levels by completing a membership form and submitting the appropriate dues. The students select local officers who work with GSWANS faculty members to conduct the business of the organization.
