Shanghai Fisheries University
Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) and Shanghai Fisheries University (SFU) jointly established a special 5-year Bachelor’s/Master’s program in Computer Science (CS) to meet the needs for a multi-cultural education by the booming US-Sino economic cooperation. The 10 semesters of studies are composed of 7 semesters of undergraduate study at SFU, and 1 semester of capstone project training as well as 2 semesters of graduate study at GSW. The program is named as Accelerated Master of Science in Computer Science. The program aims at cultivating IT experts who are versatile in both technology development and international business practices.
The first batch of 11 students joined GSW in the Spring of 2007 followed by second batch of 14 students in the Spring of 2008. Since then the students are enrolling in the program.
