Writing Center

Mission Statement

The University Writing Center furthers the GSW mission of cultivating intellectual and social growth for students by providing a place for practice in writing, communication skills, and collaboration. We believe that learning to write is a complex process that is effectively fostered by providing knowledgeable, attentive readers. Consultants assist students in strategies for all facets of the writing process and in every discipline. Additionally, the Center serves as a resource for the larger GSW community in the teaching of writing.

The Writing Center is located in the ACE 104

Hours:

The Writing Center is open Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm and Friday from 9 am to 12 pm. Online hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 pm to 11 pm and Sunday from 5 pm to 9 pm.
