Tutors: GSW SSS hires undergraduate students to work as tutors.  Tutors meet with SSS program participants on an individual basis.  Tutors must have a 2.5 GPA and have earned an A or B in the course in which they wish to tutor.  The prospective tutor must furnish a transcript (may be unofficial) or have a recommendation from the professor who teaches the course.  All prospective tutors must be patient, flexible, and sensitive to the needs of the SSS participants. Work Study Students: Students may check to see if they are eligible for work study positions by checking with the Financial Aid Office at Georgia Southwestern State University.
