If a student has a documented disability as defined by the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Public Law 933-112 section 504) you may be eligible to receive accommodations. A student is considered disabled if they are diagnosed as having or has a history of an impairment that substantially limits a major life activity, examples may be caring for one’s self, performing manual tasks, walking seeing, hearing, speaking, breathing, learning and working.

Accommodations will be provided only with the appropriate documentation. The documentation must be on file for each disability that a student is requesting accommodations for. If a student has mobility and learning disability then documentation must be provided for each of these disabilities.
